We are all going through very difficult times regarding all the issues and stress this Pandemic has brought to all of us worldwide. From having to find resources to have them handy in the case of a locked down to the tension that brings not knowing if you have been contaminated or not or even those who are ill or have lost a love one... none of us are completely safe or not impacted one way or another.
Perhaps it is a reminder that despite the "walls and borders" we are all neighbors on this planet. We are as vulnerable as we can be right now and we need to find ways to support each other in the distance, through language barriers and through at least try to keep some morale up!
After working with crystals, oils and different spiritual tools, making research and even talking through my own experience, I want to share some ways that can help you cope with the actual situation and also prevent in the future.
The following oils are great. I am talking specificly from the Scentastics line I personally use and sell.
Patchouli: Has a strong, earthy, smoky, spicy and musky scent. It is antidepressant, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, astringent, deodorant, fungicide and insecticide. May cause loss of appetite. I personally like to use the Scent Oil called Midnight which is a blend with Amber and besides being a good deodorant, is not as strong and more pleasant to our nose. Metaphysically is great for working with money candle magick and highly protective.
Thieves: Here's the story behind "Thieves" oil:
The Black Plague, or The Black Death, was one of the most deadly pandemics in history. The Black Plague was believed to have begun in China and then spread West. It is estimated to have killed about 50% of Europe's population and reduced the world's population by about 100 million people during the 14th century.
It was during the time of The Black Plague that a band of thieves were discovered to be able to successfully rob the dead and their graves without fear of becoming affected by this deadly disease.
Upon their capture and subsequent charging of grave robbing as well as theft of the dying victims-they were offered a plea bargain. They were offered leniency in their punishment if they would reveal the secret of their protection against this killer disease. Since this disease was so contagious that families often died in droves, it was imperative to the communities to learn this mystical secret.
The band of thieves, legends say there were four, disclosed the secret that has lived on and protects us from air borne disease, even today. These men were, by trade, perfumers and spice traders. They'd concocted a mixture of various essential oils to protect them not only from the airborne germs, but also from actually touching the decaying bodies.
Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Cinnamon, Clove and Lemon are the essential oils used in this famous blended oil!
Herbs Garden: A blend of Rosemary, Spearmint, Sage and Peppermint essential oils. An herbacious, spicy blend with uplifing properties.
Rosemary: Strong, clear, penetrating, camphoraceous and herbaceous aroma. It is analgesic, antidepressant, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, cicatrisant, digestive, diuretic, hypertensive and rubefacient. Clears the head and aids memory, good for mental strain.
Spearmint: Very similar to peppermint, slightly sweeter. Antispasmodic, emmenagogue, insecticide, parturient and stimulant. Indicated for all sorts of respiratory problems, sinusitis, and chronic bronchitis.
Sage: Have you ever heard of the practice of “smudging” a room? In this ritual, sage sticks are tied into a bundle, dried, and lighted to produce a purifying smoke.
Sage bundles are waved around rooms, homes, cars, or people so that the trails of smoke disperse and remove unfriendly or negative energy that is present. Sage is useful for mental clarity and stimulates the nervous system.
Recently, in a carefully controlled trial, sage was found to be effective in the management of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease
Peppermint: Helps people become clear headed and refreshes the spirits. Helpful for people who are unable to concentrate or who have mental fatigue. Said to relieve states of anger, hysteria and nervous trembling, excellent for depression.
Breath Again: A blend of Eucalyptus and Rosemary essential oils.
Eucalyptus essential oil is widely used for upper-respitory, allergies, colds and flu. Rosemary essential oil is great for focus and memory. The scent is very spa-like. Smells very similar to Vics Vapor rub without any chemicals. Read below about the benefits of each oil.
Eucalyptus: Its scent is camphorous with a woody sweet undertone. Some of this oil’s properties are expectorant, decongestant, insecticide, analgesic, antirheumatic and antiseptic. Inhibits proliferation of the cold virus. Deters mosquitoes and other insects. Cools emotions, aids concentration. Effective in all types of fever, lowers the temperature, makes breathing easier, loosens phlegm. It is one of the most valuable oils for treating the respiratory system. According to research, the spraying of a 2% emulsion containing eucalyptus oil kills off 70% of local, airborne staphylococci. Helps with cystitis. Clears up sinus congestion.
Rosemary: Strong, clear, penetrating, camphoraceous and herbaceous aroma. It is analgesic, antidepressant, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, cicatrisant, digestive, diuretic, hypertensive and rubefacient. Avoid in pregnancy since it is an emmenagogue.Clears the head and aids memory, good for mental strain. Since it stimulates blood circulation, it is a good remedy for low blood pressure. It’s an excellent tonic for the liver and gall bladder. Helps lower high blood sugar.
Cinnamon: Cinnamaldehyde is a skin irritant so while the bark oil has a superior fragrance, it is not recommended for topical use in aromatherapy. *However, there is an option to use the actual Cinnamon Broom Fragance Oil for diffuser bracelets or topical use.*
Bark oil is in great use commercially in foods, mouth preparations, soaps and toiletries. Warm, spicy and sweet aroma. Used as an insecticide, emmenagogue, antispasmodic, antibacterial, aphrodisiac and antifungal particularly against Candida and Aspergillis. Indicated for tooth care, blends for vaginitis, impotence in men, respiratory blends for the lungs. Eases colds and breathing difficulties. As an inhalation, it is excellent for exhaustion, feelings of depression and weakness. It is a very effective antiseptic, digestive and anti-rheumatic and is regarded as one of the strongest antiseptic oils. Useful for preventing infectious and contagious diseases. Not recommended for skin care. Traditionally used in clearing warts. The leaf oil is relatively non-toxic. Very powerful, should be used with extreme care, could be a skin irritant for certain persons. Blends well with clove, frankincense, ginger, lavender, orange and thyme.
I have been using crystals for so many years and for so many things! After I made some extra research I decided to put together a
"Virus Crystal Therapy Bag". It has the following:
Pyrite - Good for Bronchitis and lungs, viruses.
Rose Quartz- Good for lung diseases, general pain, cough.
Amethyst - Inmune System, Master Healer, soothing, calming, work with viruses.
Jet - Reduce Fever
Crystal Quartz - Master Healer, assist with reducing fever and general pain, amplifier for the other crystals.
Aquamarine - Safety travels, cough.
I also highly reccommend crystals to be used in daily grounding and meditation as we should do that as part of our energetic/Chakras healthy maintenance.
Combining Crystals with the Oils:
For the perfect combo I suggest using the famous diffuser bracelets that comes with crystals and lava beads. Lava Beads are great to put a small drop of oil with your fingers or cotton so it can last awhile and is office and allergies friendly.
